Edward Vs. Jacob...

Yes, Little pretties... I created this marvelous piece of art... and, yes... I hate Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse & Breaking Dawn... It ain't, no secret... I'm like the worlds, greatest advocate against the Twilight Saga... I'm like, famous at my school because of it... BF? Don't you go saying I'm not because you know it's true... She's probably complaining that she hates it more than me but... she doesn't... I can hear her now... "You don't have a sister who quotes the worst parts over and over again... and you don't have to live with everyone at school yapping about it all the time" You know what my dear BF? I feel your pain... but I have to live with a brother who complains about all the girls at his school complaining about how bad the movies are because they're too lazy to read the books... but this is my response to anyone who tells me that... I've read the books... I've seen the first two movies... THEY ALL SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I literally scream it at them... unless its during class... then I only mildly yell...

And all this about Edward vs. Jacob... Seriously?? That's like comparing dirty underwear to dirty socks... one sucks, and the other sucks even more...

I like this comparison better... Peeta vs. Gale... From the Hunger Games... I just read the last like, 50 pages of Catching Fire... UGH!!!! WHY CAN'T MOCKINGJAY COME OUT NOW???????? Ugh... you want to know why I hate & love Catching Fire at the same time?? I love it because it's one of the best books ever... and I hate it because of this... The last part of the book...

"Katniss," Gale say softly.
I recognize that voice. It's the same one he uses to approach wounded animals before he delivers a deathblow. I instinctively raise my hand to block his words but he catches it and holds on tightly.
"Don't," I whisper.
But Gale is not one to keep secrets from me. "Katniss, there is no District Twelve."
END OF BOOK TWO
I hate it!!!! I hate cliff-hangers!!!!

Okay... enough about the one worst things in the literacy world... uh...yeah... things to avoid
  1. Vampires
  2. Werewolves
  3. Romantic novels (Especially teen ones)
  4. Cliff-hangers
  5. Series where you have to wait for more books...

Custer and On To HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After we got back from Mount Rushmore Tuesday night, we went out to eat and then went back to the hotel and went to bed...

Yesterday morning, we went to breakfast, and repacked the van and went to the visitors center... after listening to a guy ramble for a while, we got information about Custer State Park... we drove there, and saw some very, very beautiful veiws... at a lake... called Lake Legion...

We went for a hike and I took, like, 30 or 40 pictures...  it was fun...

Then we got back in the van and drove around for a while... took more pictures...

My brother didn't get out once... the weirdo... Oh well...

Not much to talk about other than the breath-taking views...

Then there was the Buffalo... They were fun!! And the Donkey's!!

My brother wanted to go to the South Dakota Air and Space Museum...

It was so Boring I almost CRIED!!!!!!!!!!!

It sucked... I am not, at all, interested in anything that has to do with air or space... But my brother and Dad are absolutely amazed by all of it... and, they expect me to be too... which, in itself, is even worse...

Oh well... I ended up doing a puzzle they had in the shop...

Then we left and started for home... a 10 hour drive... started at 3:30... Yep... we didn't get home till 1:30 pm this morning... It SUCKED!!!!! I can't sleep in a moving vehicle, unless I'm dead tired... which, I wasn't... and yeah... I was awake the entire time...

I was glad that I didn't eat the Burger King like the rest of my family... I hate Burger King and I probably would've thrown it all up... instead I had crackers for supper... not very filling... but it was better than eating a Double Whopper out of a Eclipse wrapper... Personally I don't get what all the fuss is about... they're terrible books... the only reason the movies are better is because it's only 2 & a 1/2 hours of horrible instead of days...

Forever... and Ever... and Ever... Then It's Rushmore

Today, we left  Denver... We went through Wyoming and into South Dakota... yep... We left at 8:00 (Mountain Time) & It was going to be, like, 6 hours... Sucks Right??

This is one of the most interesting parts of Wyoming... That we saw at least... Other than than the Exit that had nothing but fireworks stores...

We drove for 20 minutes once, without seeing another living soul... The prairie was endless... It went on forever, and ever, and ever...

And ever...

And ever...

And ever...

Oh well... I had my iPod... I had to recharge it twice... I went through my songs at least once, maybe twice... which isn't hard when you have 86...

It ended up being more like 7 & a 1/2 hours... we got turned around in one of the few towns that we went through...

At last we got to Custer... and we checked into our hotel at 3:30 and unloaded... Then my parents decided that we should go to Mount Rushmore... yep... we got 5 minutes out of the vehicle and then we were back in, driving another 20 minutes to get there... but it was worth it...

I had the feeling that I was standing among living history... It was AWESOME!!!!

We- or should I say, I took a lot of pictures the only problem was that it was drizzly and cloudy and miserable... luckily the pictures don't show it!

My parents bought me a T-Shirt and one of those crushed pennies... it's awesome...

I'll put some more of our pictures on....

Mount Evans... I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh...

Pretty Right?? I guess it looks alright... when you don't have a head-ache the size of the mountain you're on... This is part of Mount Evans... One of the highest mountains in the Rockies... at 14,240 feet above sea-level... yeah... seems like nothing could happen... Yet... I got... Altitude Sickness... sneeky stuff... no matter what your physical condition, it could still effect you...

It was 32 Degrees at the Summit... Boy, was I glad I wore pants that day... in Denver it was, like, 80... not Surprising for early July...

We saw baby Mountain Goats... we couldn't pet, feed or do anything to effect them... there's a fine of 300$ for touching one... **Sad Face** They probably had some disease on them anyway...

My mom was the one who started driving up the mountain... (1 hour up, 1 hour down) until she got to a part right on the edge of the cliff... she was a wee bit scared... she stopped at the first place... and my dad drove the rest of the way... much to my dismay... There were needlepoint turns... my dad was driving, like, 30 MPH and yeah... We were on the outside lane... My brother was like "Uh, Dad? Could you take the turns a little slower? Sis' is looking a little green..."

And I'm pretty sure I was... but not from Dad's sharp turns... By this point, (Half-way up the mountain) The Altitude Sickness was in full swing... my stomach was lurching... My head was hurting like I'd just hit myself in the face with a Softball bat... Believe me... I know this by experience... After another half an hour, we got to the summit... Took a bunch of pictures... got my head throbbing even worse... listened in on a Ranger Talk... and then headed back down the mountain... The Summit took about half an hour... UGH!!!!!

After we got down to the bottom of the Mountain... we decided to take the 'Scenic Route' back to Denver... I think you can guess where this is going... It ended up being shrouded by trees... and curvy... and STILL TOO HIGH FOR COMFORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My headache got worse because of the curves... this time I almost threw up... Gross right? What's with me and trowing up? Sorry, back to the problem at hand...

It was twice as long as the ride over... and we came out somewhere we had know idea where it was... eventually we found our way back to Denver... By that time, my headache was almost completely gone... THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the highlights of today... yep...

P.S. I took all these pictures... with my headache... **HAPPY DANCE**

Happy Fourth of July... I Went to a Museum!

Yep...I went to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science... very exciting... We saw space stuff, Rocks and gems (like the one to the right) Egyptian Mummies, Fossils and Dinosaurs, Space Exhibits, stuffed animals... They had everything!!

Oh well... It took us forever to get there though... about half an hour... and then we spent 2-3 hours there... and then we spent an hour at Rock Bottom eating supper... I had an Original Chicken Sandwich.... and then we walked around a mall for a while...

We stopped at Barns & Noble!!!!!! **HAPPY DANCE**  Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE Barns & Noble!!! I didn't get to buy anything **Sad Face** but I looked at they're planners... They didn't have one that I could use... Next year I need a daily planner for central, because they give us tiny ones that we can barely use... (Mean people) so... yea, I'm kinda taking it upon myself to make sure I'm as productive as possible...

Um... here are some more pictures from the museum so... yea...

Oh Well... Happy Fourth!

Ugh... Too Much Prarie... At Least They've Got Good Fireworks...

Okay... we traveled to Colorado today... that meant getting up at 6:00 and leaving by 7:00... 11 hours on the road... a messed up watch and one massive headache... yep... life's good... Just kidding... I've never been past Omaha so I had no real idea of how Nebraska looked... but let me say... I wouldn't care to see it again... in the 4, 5 hours we spent driving through the state, I saw one interesting thing... TWO TRAINS!!!!!! Crossing each other a max speed... yep... that's the highlight of the drive... until we reached Denver... about 15 minutes from where we're going... Then my brother decides he's bored and insists on playing I Spy... I won... then we played the Alphabet game... How old do you think he is? I'll give you a hint... He just got his driver's license this year...

Then we got to my parent's friend's house... watched TV for a while... (My parent's friend had to work for about an hour) ate pizza for supper, and played cards... then when... (I'll just call him PF) then when PF got back we went out, talked to some of his friends, and went to see the fireworks... big, giant, and a  pyromaniac's dream! (Yes, my friends... I am a pyromaniac) but my ears hurt for a while... It was only 10:00 when they ended but since we're in Mountain time... it felt like 11:00 to me...

When we got back my brother turned the TV to BBC America... guess what was on... I'll give you a hint... it is a TV show on Saturday nights, that some episodes creep me out so much... the last time I saw this episode I couldn't fall asleep for hours... it was played the night before Mother's Day... Anyone remember that post? The one with the stupid, annoying, freaky, WEEPING ANGELS???? I hate them...why did they have to play that on July 3rd?

Oh well... I'm falling asleep typing this, I should probably turn in...

See Ya!

**Yawn**... Hi... **Tired Wave**

Hi... **Yawn** I'm, like, really tired... We didn't get home till almost ten... and then my mom made me clean the bathroom this morning... yep... I got to
  1. scrub the floor
  2. clean the toilet
  3. wash the shower
  4. Bleach the tub
  5. wipe... I mean scrub the counter
  6. Use Windex on the mirrors...
Did I miss anything? Oh, and by the way... It wasn't in that order...

I should probably tell you how this came around... I'd just gotten done with breakfast and was going back to my room when my mom told me I had to:
  1. Pack for our Colorado Trip
  2. Clean the Bathroom
  3. Clean my Bedroom
  4. Clean the Livingroom
All by noon... can to understand why I'm so tired??

Now I'm hiding in my room so my mom doesn't make me clean something else... I'll tell her I'm doing homework! Although that wouldn't work if I'm asleep... I'm literally falling asleep here... even though I have music blaring right in front of my face...

Oh Well... Um... Oh! I got my Central Schedule!!! **HAPPY DANCE** I'm in Radically-Accelerated Geometry... 1 & 1/2 years of math in 1 year!!!

I'm listening to Colbie Caillat...

Well... I better go... I'll try to post on our trip... We leave tomorrow and won't get back until the 7th... Will you guy's be able to live without me?? **A lot of vigorous shacking of heads** Good... if you'd said you could I'd have to kill you...

Well... Bye!
