Procrastination is the New Black

Yeah... Today is President's Day. Which means no school. But tomorrow I have a Take-Home-Test due. And Wednesday, I have to present a poem!!! So I'm procrastinating, well, everything!!!

I wrote an entire fanfiction one-shot. It's short, but I'm proud of it! I watched Princess Diaries I this morning. Read an entire book (210 pages). And I cleaned my room.

Yep. I'm an expert at keeping busy while procrastinating...

Potatoes and Tears

I know; I'm the worst blog-hostess in the world... but I'm an even worse Fanfiction-updater... I'm really sorry, but Finals are coming up (English is the day after tomorrow; ugh) and I'm really not looking forward to them.

Running has been going well for me. I've gotten out quite often, but not as often as I would like. I'm still in condition, for the most part. I've lost a good majority of my hills amazingness, but I won't need hills in Track, so...

I started watching Mulan today on Youtube. Keyword there is started. The set of videos I was watching goes through 8 and they only had the first 6. But I didn't find this out until after I finished the sixth part. So I'm left hanging after she was kicked out of the army and left to die in the middle of the mountains with only 2 blankets and a bandage to keep her warm... Nice huh?

Now you're all probably wondering what's going on with the title. Yeah, dinner was very interesting tonight for my family.  One of our favorite dishes is potatoes and spam. We had no spam but we had ham left over from our New Years Day lunch, so we had potatoes and ham. As you all know, I'm lactose-intolerant, but my dad decided to be a jerk and put cheese on my plate, and my plate only. When I started to object, he screamed (literally screamed) and stormed out of the room. When I looked at my mom she looked just as confused as I felt. She said to just eat it and when I objected again she yelled at me; not as loudly as my father, but still it hurt. So when I ran out crying, my dad showed up again and actually shoved me back into the kitchen and said "Eat the f**king food." So I'm not lying when I said that I had potatoes and tears for supper, I'm not kidding. There was barely any ham in it!

Ugh, Life Sucks

Okay, for those you who read my blog regularly, (although, I don't know if there is anybody who reads my blog regularly) you know that I LOVE to complain. About the smallest insignificant things. Like getting a paper cut (I actually have one right now, how fun is that?) and burning your tongue on your Hot Cocoa, which I just did. So, you shouldn't be surprised if I say that I blew up (not literally, I yelled, cried, screamed, basically fell apart) when everyone at the church that I've been attending for all my 14 years has been ignoring me. Well, not everyone; the adults there are extremely nice. Ugh, if it weren't for my choir directors, I probably would quit. :(

On a totally unreated topic; mi padre is totally sending me mixed signals, you know how he wants me to go into the 'big bucks' stuff? Well today he asked me if I've ever considered a career in writing!!! WTF??? I mean you don't completely bully your daughter into believing what she want's to do is deadbeat and not worth her time, and then ask if she want's to do it? I mean, do you know how that makes me feel? Then he had the nerve to ask if I've been writing at all! HELLO!!! He obviously hasn't been paying attention to the late nights that I spend writing... ugh, this urks me so bad...

Oh, have I told you guys that I'm lactose-intolerant now??? Yep, it sucks; no cheese, no ice cream, no sour cream, no milk, no hot chocolate cereal... My life is in ruin...

One happy note of my life; my extended family christmas was last weekend. (17th &18th) I got $70 in cash; $25 gift card to B&N (Which I've already spent; I bought The Demon King, and The Exile Queen) $50 to Target (Clothes, here I come!!!) $10 to iTunes (must I explain?) and a whole bunch of Aeropostale clothes that didn't fit (I returned them and got clothes that fit, a scarf and a hat, for only $2.12 more!) Oh, and I got some foundation; not much, but hopefully I can buy some with my Target Gift Card...

Well, I should really get back to writing reviews, or stories, or fanfiction, or something... See ya!

Title... I know, I'm Original...

OMG!!! I know, I haven't updated in a while, but I have an excuse!!! I've had homework, church, and cross country!!! So, yeah!!!

But back to my OMG!!! Maria V. Snyder has a new book coming out soon!!! It's called "A Touch of Power" **Happy Dance** I don't think it's in the same universe as The Study and Glass series', but, It looks cool...

Um... Well, I'm currently writing a FanFiction (One-shot) during my free-time at school... I personally think it's horrible... but, hey! My friends don't!

I watched the 'Something Borrowed' Movie last weekend... It was about 60% like the book... but still good...

I'm currently listening to Sugarland's County Line... I love it...

So.... Um.... Yeah...

Okay... I'm bored, I'm tired, I'm sore, I have a headache, I'm grumpy, I have the worst writers block EVER, and to top it all off, I have to get in condition for Cross Country...

Yep... Fun right?
Cross Country starts Monday... I've run twice all summer, so... I'm not at all in condition... When I ran this morning, it was perfect conditions... 6:15 in the morning, cloudy, slight wind, about 65 degrees, slight humidity... perfection... I did run a strait mile... too bad that in cross country, you have to run 2 or 3 miles...

Um... unrelated note... Me madre y yo nosotros vamos... shopping... We spent a lot of money... but a lot of the stuff of we can both fit into... so... that's cool... I bought a lot of my school supplies... still don't have my calculator yet... which sucks...

I'm currently trying to finish a fanfiction chapter that I started in July... which is absolutely horrible... I'm a horrible updater...

You probably want me to shut up now...

Ugh...

Here I am, bored out of my mind, sitting here, at my desk, waiting for something exciting to happen... **cricket cricket** Fine!!! Be that way!!!

All I've done for the past two days, is sit in my room, trying to write fanfiction, (which isn't going anywhere, I might add,) finding more music on Youtube that I have no money to buy on Itunes, and studying for my driver's permit test... Yep, life is good...

My brother came back from his mission trip the other day... did I tell you guys about the fact that it would be too expensive to send both my brother and me on a mission trip, so he gets to go to 5 while I get to go to 3?

Well, I'm currently texting my friend, and she's telling me to talk in words longer than one syllable... it's fun annoying her with that...

I'm going to see Captain America on Friday... it should be awesome... not as awesome as Harry Potter, but still awesome...

At School, Yet, Not At School...

I'm at my mom's school while she's teaching Summer School. Why? Because she want's me to help her set up for another Summer School next week... Which is in a  different building... Fun Right?

So, needless to say, I'm a little bored...  So, I'm writing Fanfiction, updating Tark's Pick's, doing random stuff on Goodreads... It's all good... kinda...

Well, Colbie Caillat came out with a new album... All of You... Unfortunatly, I don't have enough money on Itunes to buy it... **Sad Face**

I've been sorting papers for the past hour... I have so many papercuts, it aint even funny... And they're not all on my hands... they're all over my forearms and neck... don't ask me how I got papercuts on my neck... It just happend...

Well, my mom is telling me to do something... I should probably go... so, see ya!

One Heck of a Scare...

Do you wanna know what the scare was? no, I didn't get attacked by a man-eating pussy cat... (no, that was last week) I had 4 out of 7 symptoms of Semolina Poisoning... YUCK!!! I had:

1. fever
2. nasea
3. blood in stol
4. headache

yup... but, I took a nap for two or three hours and I was all better...

Um... I saw Transformers 3!!! It was epic... not as epic as Harry Potter (T MINUS FIVE DAYS) will be, but it was still cool...

Reading: Firelight, by Sophie Jordan... it's pretty good... I'm about half way through, and it's due tomorrow, so... yeah...

Fanfiction update... it's coming... slowly...

Well, Banana bread just got out of the oven, so I'm gonna go eat some of that.... yum yum...

OMIGOD!!! You HAVE to read this fanfiction, if you like Lily/James... It's AMAZING!!! It's Pre Order of the Pheonix, but it's still really awesome... but sad... I was literally bawling towards the end of it, but it was worth it... totally worth it...

Apologies and VBS

Okay, I know it's been a while. And by a while, I mean over three months... I've been busy with church, school, friends, fanfiction, the library... the list goes on and on.... but you probably don't want my excuses, do you? You probably just want me to go on to as normal...

I'm sorry to say, that I missed the 1 year anniversary of Tark's Place... So sad. I was literally depressed... I've already made a scheduled post for next year's, so that if I forget again, it won't be missed.

Right now is Vacation Bible School at my church (VBS for short). The theme for this is is displayed to the left. (But you probably figured that out by yourself). Lets just say that it's UTTER CHAOS!!!! I'm one of the snack coordinators and for snack today, we had white/yellow cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles. And we have water for them everyday. Well, while I was walking around, refilling water cups, a little third grader came up to me and shook me until all the ice cold water that had been in pitcher (3/4 of a gallon) had spilled all over me. Fun right? That's not all... no more than five minutes after I'd dried myself off, another little kid came up behind me trying to get my attention, and smeared frosting all over my brand new shorts. In a very, um, inappropriate spot. Needless to say, I was... PISSED!!!!!! But, although it was extremely hard, I refrained from slapping any of the kids, even the one who purposely poured water on a table. I only yelled and probably scared a few kids for life.
