My Story...

I think I promised to let you see my story that I was writing in English Class... I'll only do three paragraphs so I don't bore you... If I'm not just tell me and I'll give you the rest...

I thought I was prepared for anything. Anything Life would throw at me. I soon found out that I was wrong. I couldn’t handle much of anything. My entire world would change. Life has finally caught up to me. It all started exactly one year ago. On the eve of her Wedding, my sister, was kidnapped.



It all happened so fast. She was sitting in the kitchen with my mom and I, making party favors. She’d gone outside to get another box of favors and a man jumped out of the shadows and grabbed her. My mom had started running and shouting as the man had dragged my sister into a car. I’d ran to the phone dialing as fast as I’d ever dialed before. My mom sank to her knees as the car drove off. I had started crying by that point, because my sister was gone, and I hated to see my mother that way.


10 minutes later, a cop had arrived and started asking questions. He’d asked if the kidnapper was an adult male, about 6ft. I’d told him that I hadn’t gotten a good look, but that it sounded about right. My dad wasn’t answering his cell or work phone so my mother and I were all alone in our misery. After a few more questions the cop called someone on his radio.  I’d been in a daze, trying to remember exactly what had happen. I’d suddenly remembered that Mike, my sister’s fiancé, was going to tell her something important. But, I wondered, is it important enough to kidnap her?
 
Anybody like that? It's okay if you don't I'd understand... Although I'd ask you to give it a chance... It's only the first three chapters...

Um? Lol? I think? Maybe?

Today... just another Boring, Rainy, Cold Wednesday in Des Moines, Iowa... Okay, I hate thunder... VERY MUCH!!!! today at lunch there was a loud CRACK!! **LOL**of thunder and half the girls (mostly the popular girly girls "Oh No! I broke a nail" **I hate those kind of girls... they make a bad stereotype**) screamed... and not the normal "OMG! Hey Girlfriend" kind of scream, they were all the high-pitched screams... very loud, and VERY annoying...

In other news, we're almost done with our napkin holders... I just need to add another coat of Clear finnish to mine... then I'm done! lately after I'm done with my day's project I go over to the computer lad and finish my house I started last month... much fun...

Then there was the HUGE thunderstorm all day yesterday and today... It woke me up-I don't know-5 times... maybe 6... Lets just say I was really tired this morning... Even as I'm writing this, at 8:00 at night the sky looks like it usually does at midday, and the thunder? It shakes the house... Weren't these storms supposed to be done in April? you know? April Showers, Bring May Flowers... What will these bring... May Showers, Bring June Floods?

I had A LOT of homework **Sad face** After constantly getting distracted in Reading class... I had my entire discussion guide to do... It's due tomorrow... good thing I just got done... Lol... It took me an hour to do it... don't tell my teacher but I actually didn't read it...I just skimmed... Shhhhhh! P.S. If you're reading The True Confession of Charlotte Doyle **Long name, Amazing results** would you happen to know What the "Prison"that Charlotte referred to as her proper place? from chapter 13, 14, or 15?

At least I finished my Mystery Essay... It only needs to be edited, approved, typed, edited again, printed, and graded... It's a good story... the only bad thing is that it took me a week to write it...when I finish typing it I'll post it here...

Other than that I had a completely BORING day... just like yesterday, and the day before that and back to Thursday and Friday that's why I haven't really been doing much of any blogging lately... Sorry...

Hey... Happy Mom's Day! P.S. I Got Scared Out Of My Wits...

Happy Mother's Day, all! Yesterday, My parents and I went to Wally-World and got stuff to make a fancy meal and cheesecake. We also bought flowers for my Grandma. They are pink and yellow tulips... I made her a card and put a nice little rhyme inside... It was really cute.

She came to our house for a Mother's day meal... Baked Beans, Mixed Vegetables, BBQ Pork Loin, and Applesauce and last but not least...chocolate marble cheesecake...

Afterward we played cards and talked about random topics... In June I'm modeling the Wedding Dress both my mom and Grandma wore on their wedding days...

Last night I watched a T.V. show called Doctor Who. A sci-fi show on BBC America... every Saturday night... This episode I was dreading since I first saw the preview last week... It was about weeping Angels... Statues that if you don't look at them they move and try to kill you... you can see why watching this at 9:00 at night can seem at little scary... since they're going into a cave, a cave that's full of dormant Angels... And then there's the fact that my dad kept trying to scare me by pretending to be an Angel... Then the lights started flickering in my room while I was getting ready for bed (A trick the angels used to get to they're "prey") Very Scary... my wits were... absolutely GONE!

Today? Today Over Already? YES!

Today... What a busy day. In first period (Math) a teacher came to my class and gave five of us a pass to get out of second period to take a test. A placement test to find which math class would be best for me next year. It was only supposed to be one period long... any one who knows me knows that ain't gonna happen... It took me 2 & 1/2 periods... yep that's 2 hours of math, in addition to my already 45 min of math...

I got to miss Science and Social Studies and half of P.E. because of that... It was awesome...

In other news... In P.E. We played Kickball... I hate kickball... Good thing my P.E. Teacher doesn't care if you don't really play, as long as you try. It's awesome... When my team was up to bat (or is it kick? **Shrugs** oh well) I just stayed at the back of the line and didn't do anything **mischievous smile** and when we were in the field my friends and I (I'm trying to work on my grammar, for my Stupid Essay, you better be reading this -um- reading teacher!) just stood by third base and talked... much fun...

Um? Anything I missed? Oh yeah I forgot to mention that my reading teacher (mentioned above) was gone today... She's also my advisory teacher... the good thing about this was that we got candy... the bad thing, most of the class was bad and I couldn't concentrate... Oh well I'll make it up tomorrow...

In Advisory class I was invited to join a class next year called Media It sounds like fun... I would make the school newspaper, the parent newsletter, and the YEARBOOK!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skittles @ My BFF's

I LOVE Skittles... I'm eating a bag right now... Shhh don't tell my parents...

I'm at my Best Friends house at the moment... She's reading me all the cards she's ever gotten... All almost 13 years of her life... (She turns 13 on May 20) Very boring... Now she's talking about starting to collect postcards... POSTCARDS!!!!

I'm really bored... Oh well, at least supper's in 3 hours... (hear that mom and dad? I'm eating here!) Now she's trying to get a folder out of a desk she hasn't cleaned in years... I can't see the floor of her room... she's grunting now... Oh her beds actually made today...**Shocked**

 AND SHE SURVIVES!!!! After flying backwards six feet, with a desk drawer soaring after her she finally got the folder out... after 5 min... And now she's putting some music on... One Girl Revolution...

And she goes go flying into the closet... I'm hearing screams of agony... apparently she's cleaning... she reappears with clothes in hand asking "How long have these been here? I've been looking for them fpr four months!" she dives back in, this time reappearing with a plastic rod she calls a sword... she has no idea I'm blogging on her happenings... Shhhh!

Clothes are flying out by the handfuls followed by a scream and then "I was looking for this... Hey I found my Yearbook!! I'm looking for a picture of you..." She's distracted, oh well, another project half done....

She now has a cardboard rod she's calling an even better sword... she's throwing away her gum... (I shouldn't go into that much detail) She hasn't even thown anything away yet... other than her gum, of course...

Now it's me screaming in agony as she thows a pillow at me after finding out I've been posting all this... quick I need to po--

FREE LUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH YEA!!!! I got FREE LUNCH!!!! I bet none of you did... Sorry I'm just hyped-up on strawberries... Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE strawberries!!!! I helped someone at my church wash some fruit and they let me have some **Happy Dance** I took mostly Strawberries... I took enough to count as a lunch...

I had communion to do today... I was FUN!! (I'm still hyped up...sorry) We got done really fast.... well not really fast... but faster than we usually do...

Other than that I can't think of anything I need to tell y'all about.... See you Tomorrow... I'm getting Hungry... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Shopping... UGH

I HATE SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ** Screams!**

Ahhh. I feel better now.  I went shopping with my parents and my $25 gift card to Kohls, which bought an amazing two items... now I owe my parents $50... not fun... We spent 5 hours shopping...

Other than the high price tags I love my new clothes. I got two tank tops, a new white button-down long sleeve shirt, a pair of capris, and an over-shirt for my tank tops.

We also spent an hour at a ham radio shop that my dad knows the owner and it was the Grand Opening. We got a free lunch, lets leave it at that.

Tomorrow is communion, so much fun... I'm not being sarcastic on this one... it actually is fun... I have a feeling my mom and I are only going to go for communion so, no sermon... YES!
